"Oops, I need to add, that a lot of dialogue slows down the pace. I'm reminded of a novel I read recently called "Permanent Obscurity" ... anyhow, it has a lot of realistic dialogue and the scenes play"

"I still like Pulp Fiction best. Then R. Dogs. Then Kill Bill, part 1, then Inglorious Basterds, then Kill Bill 2, then True Romance... I don't think Kill Bill 1 & 2 would work together. They're very "

Hello there & thank you for the vote & comments on my Tarantino list. I'll grant you that the second half of Kill Bill has more dialogue than the first (which I've never seen as a problem, though I'm in the minority on this point), but that's more or less the way Tarantino created his epic. Whenever I watch them back-to-back I stop the first one as soon as it starts flashing forward to scenes from the second and skip the Bride's recap intro in vol. 2 (which isn't necessary if I've just watched the first). And it works much better for me.

Anyway, while I personally list his films in the order I have in my list you may have noticed I gave the first 7 films in the list a 10/10. So really I love them all equally. ;)
